Introduction to the four areas of printmaking: relief, intaglio, lithography, and silkscreen. Projects in each of these areas will develop technical skills and understanding of the physical nature of creating original prints. Issues of subject matter, content, and intent will be discussed and explored. Creative and original solutions to visual problems will be emphasized.
