Explores current trends, conceptual applications and contemporary formats surrounding printmaking. Utilizes information previously covered in any of the 300-level printmaking courses as the base for additional techniques and to build a working knowledge of printmaking. Starts at an intermediate technical level and builds into an advanced understanding and working knowledge of the processes. Covers artists books, mail art, nontraditional surfaces, computer applications for traditional prints, mixed media prints, and discusses commercial processes and their application in fine art. Offered infrequently. Prereq: 300-level printmaking course.
