Description:

The course examines leadership qualities, traits and principles with emphasis on the military environment. Students are confronted with situations, case studies of leadership problems under physical and mental stress and leadership assessment exercises. Self, peer and instructor leadership evaluations are conducted to develop personal awareness and realistic expectations about personal leadership skills. Advanced military skills, specifically an ability to recognize terrain and navigate across country are reinforced and Army career options are presented. This course can be used to complete a Kutztown University degree requirement.
