This is an off-campus class that will be taught while traveling abroad. It is a hands-on course. Each student will complete a portfolio of artwork documenting his or her personal response to the travel experience. Through direct observation, students will explore their personal relationship with the destination, and construct a meaningful document of their travels. Students will have the opportunity to see firsthand the work of artists and designers from other cultures. The course will include guided gallery and museum visits.
