MAT 120 (Formerly MA 116) College Algebra This college-level course is designed to prepare students for further study of college mathematics. It commences with a review of intermediate algebra concepts and progresses through subject matter within college algebra. Topics to be covered include algebra and problem solving, factoring techniques, linear functions and inequalities, systems of linear equations, polynomials, polynomial functions, rational expressions and functions, radicals, radical functions, rational exponents, imaginary and complex numbers, quadratic equations and functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, graphing techniques and analysis (3 Credits).
