Description: An undergraduate seminar course in which a book or series of research papers will be read and discussed with reference to important current issues in biology. Notes: A grade of S or U is recorded. May be retaken for credit a maximum of three times when different topics and reading materials are taught. Offered as needed. Prerequisites: BIOL 220 and 221, 222 or 270, 223 or 271; BIOL 300; CHEM 105 or 202 or 211, and CHEM 108 or 204; MATH 101, 150, or 151 or any MATH course with MATH 150 or 151 as a prerequisite; students must have a minimum grade of C- or S in all of the listed BIOL and CHEM courses taken.
