Prerequisite: A score of 16 on the Reading portion of the Enhanced ACT or REA 1013 with a grade of "C" or better.A computer competency course which introduces concepts, terminology, operating systems, electronic communications, and applications. Concepts are demonstrated and supplemented by hands-on computer use. This course will use word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, and Internet applications to reinforce the concept of using microcomputers as a tool. Three lecture hours and laboratory assignments. A student may not earn credit for both BAD 2533 and CSC 1113.
