4 hrs. lec., 3 hrs. lab, 5 credits Prerequisite: MS 215. Technical Physics I, PS 235, is a calculus- based physics course designed for science and engineering majors. Topics include mechanics in one and two dimensions, fluids, and heat. Lab required. This is a calculus-based course and it is strongly recommended that the student should take Calculus I as a corequisite or have completed Calculus I with a "C" or better.
