Presentation of the basic principles of statistics including description and interpretation of data. Provides an acquaintance to basic statistical principles that can be applied to the fields of: Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, and Social Work. The student will also be introduced to SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Prerequisites: APEN 085+, APRD 081+, PSYC 120. Corequisites: ENGL 111, RDNG 113. Semester offered: Fall.
