This course is a continuation of SPAN 1311. It seeks to further develop a basic proficiency in the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The instruction is communicatively oriented and emphasizes the everyday life and culture of Spanishspeaking people. Prerequisite: SPAN 1311 with a grade of "C" or better, or placement by examination.
