This course is the study of the earth and the modification of its surface by internal and external processes. Includes examination of the Earth ? interior, magnetism, minerals, rocks, landforms, structure, plate tectonics, geological processes and resources. Lab is required. Prerequisite: PHYS 1401 with a grade of "C" or better. 3 lecture hours, 2 lab hours. (4 credit hour/special course fee)
