This is an algebra-based chemistry course specifically designed for majors in health-related professions. The course content provides a foundation for work in health-related areas and is not appropriate for chemistry or other science majors or pre-professional students. Nomenclature, atomic and molecular structure, bonding and reactions are explored. Lab is required. Prerequisite: MATH 1302 with a grade of "C" or better. 3 lecture hours, 2 lab hours.
