Study of physical, intellectual, moral, emotional, personality, and social development of the human being, beginning with conception and continuing through childhood, adolescence, adulthood, old age, and dying. Emphasis on quantitative and qualitative ways people change throughout the life span and factors which contribute to human diversity as well as to individual uniqueness. Research methods appropriate to the study of human development are also considered. Three lecture.
