Prerequisite: Grade of "C" or higher in MATH 1203 College Algebra Offered in the fall semeste r Calculus for Business is anintroduction to the techniques of differentiation and integration Topics include calculus of algebraic, exponential, and logarithmic functions Emphasis will be placed on various quantitative methods used in business and economics In this course the student is presented with an elementary introduction to calculus for students majoring in business, economics, or the management, life and social sciences Calculus is the mathematics of change, and the world is in a constant state of change The purpose of this course is to equip students with the powerful analytic tools of calculus (ACTS, GE)
