Major topics covered are: safety and standard precautions, laboratory glassware and pipettes, microscopy, balances and weighing, specimen types, spectrophotometry, medical laboratory math, and laboratory information systems. Must earn a grade of "C" or better in this course to proceed in MDLT Major coursework.
