Introduces the basic theory, operation, and programming of automated manufacturing systems. The course will focus on three main types of manufacturing automation including; Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Computer Numerically Controlled Machines (CNC), and Robotics. Students will be required to design, program and troubleshoot computer controlled machine logic and production processes in a project oriented learning environment.
