Content is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and concepts used in proton therapy. Topics covered include practical applications of using protons and dosimetric concepts involved in treating patients. Immobilization techniques and accessory fabrication are also discussed. This course will address quality management, physics, radiobiology and regulatory procedures as they pertain to the field. Emphasis continues to be given on the professional and social intricacies of cancer care.
