This course introduces students to fundamental principles of physics and their application to familiar phenomena. Topics include motion, fluids, heat, electricity, magnetism, light and optics, waves and sound, quantum phenomena and relativity. The topics will be related to modern technology and every day phenomena. The course is intended for students who have not had a high school physics course. Lecture and Laboratory.
