This course assists the student to apply the concept of the health-illness continuum and holism in promoting health and preventing illness. Students will study the physiological aspects of client care, including communicable diseases. Included in this course is study of the disease process, as well as nursing management for the client with musculoskeletal, respiratory, neoplastic, reproductive and skin disorders.
