Description:

Extensive integration of proton therapy concepts and treatment procedures is the primary emphasis of this course. The student will be introduced to common treatment procedures performed in a proton therapy department. During this lab course the student will gain practical experience and develop the competency necessary perform a variety of procedures in a controlled environment on phantom patients. Emphasis continues to be given to the development of professional responsibility and the practice of total patient care.
