Directed practice in the clinical setting in sleep laboratory or a sleep center. Departmental orientation, policies and procedures; assist adult and pediatric patient set-up and discontinuance in monitoring of the following: electroencephalography (EEG), electroculography (EOG), electrocardiography (ECG), electromyography (EMG), pulse oximetry (SpO2), inductive plethysmography and airflow thermocouple. Emphasis on scoring a sleep montage related to respiratory cessation.
