This course will build on the student's understanding of human behavior and assist them in developing skills in the care of clients with psychiatric and social problems. It includes the study of mental/emotional illness, substance abuse and social problems emphasizing nursing management in all health care settings. (Prerequisite(s): Grade of "C" or better in ENGL 1711, HLTH1410, HLTH 1420 or BIOL 2721, SPCH 1720 or 1730, ADMS 1405, HLTH 1450 or PHIL 1722 and PSYC 1720.
