3 credits Prerequisite: A grade of C or higher in MTH 100 An introduction to methods of statistics. Topics include sampling, frequency distributions, measures of central tendency, reliability, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, analysis of variance regression, estimation, and application. Probability, permutations, combinations, binomial theorem, random variables, and distributions are included. A graphing calculator is required. This course does not meet the general core requirement for mathematics.
