3 credits, 5 hours (1-4-0) This course introduces the student to the application of surveying and drafting principles to accurately depict a section of terrain with respect to elevations, distance, and contour lines. Topics include cross sections, contour lines, and stadia. Upon completion, students will be able to complete a topographic survey of a piece of property and draw a contour map of the property.
