3 credits Prerequisite: A grade of C or higher in MTH 100 or appropriate placement score This course is a survey of ideas and methods from algebra, analytic geometry, and trigonometry that routinely occur in engineering technology. Topics include variation, determinants, conic sections, exponential and logarithmic functions, and solutions of right triangles. This terminal course is designed for students seeking an AAS or AAT degree. A graphing calculator is required. This course does not meet the general core requirement for mathematics.
