3 credits, 7 hours (1-0-6) This course focuses on basic tailoring and alterations and techniques in remodeling garments. Topics include proper techniques in lengthening, shortening, reducing, enlarging and remodeling of garments, and performance in making a sport jacket. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate skills in adjusting and fitting garments and should be able to apply appropriate techniques of tailoring in making a sport jacket.
