2 credits, 4 hours (0-4-0) This course introduces the student to the use of microcomputers. It includes keyboarding exercises, disk operating systems, formatting, and diagnostic applications for internal combustion engines. Upon completion, students should be able to perform simple operations on the microcomputer, such as use of DOS, Windows 95, and word processing operations, and use the microcomputer with diesel engine diagnostic software to identify and correct engine malfunctions.
