Fundamentals of working with raster imagery are explored using the computer. Emphasis is placed on proficiency with various tools and features in software programs such as Adobe Photoshop. Students learn to create work for print and Web publication, as well as for creative self-expression. Work with peripheral devices such as scanners, printers and digital cameras is also included. 0 lecture hours; 6 lab hours per week.
