3 credits, 3 hours (3-0-0) Prerequisite: Permission of instructor This course covers the performance, maintenance, installation, and testing of medical gas systems. The major topics are nonflammable and flammable gas systems, laboratory gas, and vacuum systems and their sub-assemblies. Upon completion, students will understand the hazards associated with medical gas systems and will be knowledgeable of system components.
