This course focuses on the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, language, and literacy development of infants and toddlers: pre-birth through age three. Knowledge of typical and atypical development is fundamental for implementing best practices in Infant/Toddler care and education. This course provides three credits towards the State of Illinois Infant/Toddler Credential. Observations are required. 3 credit hours; 0 lab hours per week.
