Prerequisites: MATH 123 and ENGT 103 This course is an introduction to the components and concepts of industrial instrumentation, closed-loop control, engineering mechanisms and measurement of physical variables using conventional and contemporary technologies. Coursework is consistent with preparation for the ISA Certified Control System Technician (CCST) examination. Project and task-oriented lab experiments utilize LabVIEW and Wonderware software. 2 lecture hours; 2 lab hours per week.
