Prerequisite: ENGT 106 Follow-up course to Sustainable Energy Systems I, Sustainable Energy Systems II investigates alternative renewable energies. Power, conversion and efficiency are reviewed and applied to tidal, wind and geothermal energy processes. Biomass products and processes are explored, and integration of alternative generation to conventional systems is considered. 2 lecture hours; 2 lab hours per week.
