Prerequisite: EQ 161 and 262 or consent of instructor. The study of early training of a horse beginning with groundwork and translating it into riding. Emphasis is placed on developing a knowledge and use of transition training and developing the horse through body control and resistance free training. 2 lecture hours; 2 lab hours.
