This course will enable the student to analyze marketing opportunities, retain ownership through finishing livestock to compositional endpoints, feed animals in performance trials, and develop females for entry into the breeding herd. The student reviews financial implications involved in raising livestock, develops facilities and waste handling systems, and manages purchases and sales.
