Theory and concepts of spreadsheets are introduced. Students receive instruction and practice in creating, formatting and editing spreadsheets using personal computers. Simulated business problems involve using "IF" statements,=NOW and =PMT functions. Advanced graphic features are added to charts. Students also learn to manipulate data used in the what if decision-making process. Students create templates and consolidate data from multiple sheets. Microsoft Excel 2007 required for online course.
