Basic foundation in tactical concepts relative to extinguishing all classes of fire. Focus on the facts that affect strategic fireground operations such as preplanning, mutual aid and company operations. Various factors of fireground command are formed in a working action plan for dealing with an incident. Incident command systems will be discussed and examined. This course will meet NFPA 1561.
