This course includes 256 hours of clinical to include 112 clinical lab hours in Basic Nursing. Ninety-six clinical hours in basic nursing care are assigned in hospitals and/or health care facilities. Forty-eight clinical hours are specific to geriatric care with clinicals being assigned in a long-term-care facility. Before entering clinical assignments, each student is required to successfully complete American Heart Association First Aid and CPR.
