Credits -3 Lecture - 3 Beginning communication in Signing Exact English (SEE). This course introduces Manually Coded English sign language systems, focusing specifically on SEE. It includes the theories, rules, principles, and vocabulary of SEE, as well as practice in both receptive and expressive skills. Students will be introduced to the finger spelled alphabet, as well as appropriate body, facial, and dramatic features of sign language. Elective in Paraeducator Certificate and AAS degree.
