Credits - 4 Lecture - 4 This course covers skills needed in reading, writing, and vocabulary to be successful in higher level college courses such as Writing 60 and Writing 121. Reading skills will focus on critical thinking, effective analysis, and the understanding and use of advanced vocabulary. Writing skills will focus on developing paragraphs and essays with emphasis on appropriate grammactical use, essay structure, styles of writing, and conducting research.
