Credits -3 Lecture - 3 This course is the third course in a sequence of courses which introduces Manually Coded English sign language systems, focusing specifically on Signing Exact English 2 (SEE). It includes the theory, rules, principles, and vocabulary of SEE, as well as practice in both receptive and expressive skills. Students will be introduced to the finger spelled alphabet, as well as appropriate body, facial, and dramatic features of sign language. Elective in Paraeducator Certificate and AAS degree. Prerequisite Ed 286 or instructor approval.
