Credits -4 Lecture - 4 This course covers basic reading, writing, spelling, and vocabulary skills needed to prepare students for higher level language arts courses. Reading skills will focus on increasing critical thinking and analysis skills as well as increasing vocabulary fluency and recognition. Writing skills will focus on improving grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and paragraph and essay development and organization.
