Credits - 4 Lecture -4 The student will study and demonstrate knowledge of prerequisite skills needed for MTH 105 and MTH 111. These skills include solving algebraic equalities and inequalities, logarithmic equations, and systems of linear and nonlinear equations. Also included are graphing algebraic functions, logarithmic functions, and conic sections. Emphasis is placed on algebraic problem-solving skills; a graphing calculator will be used as a tool to further algebraic knowledge. Prerequisite: MTH065 or MTH070B with a C or better or placement
