Credits - 11 Lecture - 6 Other -5 This course examines maternity and women's health care, and cultural, physiologic, and psychosocial needs during the reproductive and childbearing cycle. Case management, which may incorporate the nursing process and collaborative care, is stressed as well as promotion of wellness throughout a woman's lifespan. Content includes the normal process of childbearing, an introduction to high-risk conditions, and selected common gynecological conditions, and medical surgical concepts. Prerequisite: NUR203, NUR161
