This course provides emergency care instruction for anyone who works with the public. It includes legal rights of the injured, treatment for obstructed airway, management of cardiac arrest using an automatic defribrillator, management of fractures, spinal injury, and medical emergencies until the ambulance arrives. The student receives a 3-year Red Cross First Aid certification card and a 2-year CPR certification card.
