3 hours credit. Prerequisite: FS100 or currently enrolled in FS 100. This course will enable the student to gain a basic understanding of the command roles and responsibilities during fires and other emergency incidents. The student will be able to identify life threatening and nonlife threatening situations during emergencies, and based on given data will be able to effectively manage the emergency utilizing resources and various tactics and strategies.
