3 hours credit. Prerequisite: EN 102 with a C or better. This course will enable the student to understand the fundamentals of structural, civil, and pipe drafting and their integration into computer-aided design (CAD). The student will be introduced to draft, steel framing plans, steel connection details, pre-engineered metal buildings, plot plans, plans and profiles, highway and road layouts, valves, joints, fittings, pumps, tanks, and vessels.
