3 hours credit. Prerequisite: IN 131. This course will enable the student to install, upgrade, and administer the Microsoft Windows Active Directory. The student will learn about forest and tree domain structures, how to modify the Active Directory schema and how to implement an Active Directory across distributed sites. The student will evaluate operation master roles and discover how to distribute the Global Catalog. The student will implement global and universal groups, maintain user and computer configurations through group policy and secure Active Directory.
