3 hours credit. Prerequisites: IN 245 with a C or better. This course will enable the student to configure and verify router interfaces. The comprehensive RIPv1 configurations will be performed by the student. The student will design and implement a classless IP addressing scheme for a network and use advanced configuration commands with routers implementing EIGRP. The student will apply the basic RIPv2 configuration commands, evaluate RIPv2 classless routing updates, and identify the characteristics of distance vector routing protocols.
