3 hours credit. Prerequisite: IN 238 with a C or better. This course will enable the student to design and deploy an SQL Server 2005 database server infrastructure. The student will learn strategies to maintain high availability systems in the enterprise while guarding data integrity. The student will also learn how to secure the server infrastructure through the use of policies, surface configuration, authentication, endpoint protection, and other software tools.
