IN 238 - SQL Server 2005 Implementation

3 hours credit. Prerequisite: IN 131 with a C or better. This course will enable the student to install the appropriate edition of SQL Server 2005 and manage the data in that installation. The student will analyze the network and business requirements so that the SQL Server instance is installed on the correct hardware with the appropriate software configuration. The student will also learn techniques to manage and secure that data in various environments.
